Can't recommend highly enough for a quick break
Comfortable room, attentive staff, with a lovely seasonal outdoor pool that made our stay enjoyable even when the beach was nearby. The daily variety in the dining options was a delightful surprise, especially as we appreciated the chance to explore different cuisines each night.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local shops, making outings easy and pleasant. The staff stands out with their friendliness and attentiveness, especially during meals where the variety of freshly cooked dishes, including some homestyle Japanese options, was a delightful experience. the slow service at the bar and the condition of poolside furniture, with many broken chairs, were disappointing and detracted from the overall experience. A room upgrade would have been welcomed, but the aging facilities need attention.

The Blaumar is an excellent choice for its prime location just 100 yards from the beach and numerous dining options. The food was varied and delicious, especially the themed dinners that took us on a culinary world tour each evening. The staff, particularly Esther at reception, were exceptional, ensuring everything ran smoothly for our stay.
Room was small.
